Privacy Policy

Last updated: 24 October 2026

Mudarasah is a Quran memorization planner for iPhone and Android. What you memorize and how your revision goes is yours, so the app was built to hold none of it anywhere else: your data never leaves your device. This policy explains, in plain language, exactly what that means.

The short version

Your plan and progress

The plan you choose, the lessons and revision you mark, how you rated each part, where you have memorized up to, and the ayah you bookmark in the Mushaf are all written to your device's own storage. They are never uploaded, and neither the developer nor any third party can see them.

Notifications

The daily reminder is scheduled locally by your phone. Nothing about it is sent over a network: there are no push notifications, and therefore no push token and no notification server. You can turn the reminder off in the app, or notifications off in your phone's settings, at any time.

Analytics and crash reporting

There are none. Mudarasah contains no analytics SDK, no crash reporter, no advertising identifier and no third-party libraries that phone home.

Deleting your data

Because everything is stored only on your device, you are always in control. You can erase all of it from Settings → Delete everything inside the app, or by deleting the app. There is no server-side copy to request the deletion of, because none is ever created.

If your phone backs itself up to iCloud or to Google, that backup is made by your phone under your own account and settings, and is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy or Google's Privacy Policy. The developer has no access to it.

Children

Mudarasah is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from anyone.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new “Last updated” date.
