Terms of Use

Last updated: 28 October 2026

These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern your use of the VoiceMark application for iPhone and Android (“VoiceMark”, the “App”). By downloading or using VoiceMark, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. License

VoiceMark grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the App on any device that you own or control. If you got VoiceMark from the App Store, the Apple Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA) also applies and is incorporated here by reference. If you got VoiceMark from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply. Where these Terms and the store's terms differ, the stricter protection for you applies.

2. What VoiceMark does

VoiceMark plays podcasts from their public feeds and lets you record voice notes tied to a moment in an episode, with transcripts made on your device. Your notes are stored only on your device. See the Privacy Policy for details.

3. Podcasts belong to their publishers

The shows you find and play in VoiceMark are published by others through their own feeds. We do not host, own or review that content, and its publishers' terms apply to it. When you share a card or an export that quotes a show, make sure you are allowed to share what you post.

4. Transcripts

Transcripts are made automatically by your phone's speech recognition and can contain mistakes, especially in notes that mix languages. The original recording is always kept so you can check what you said. Don't rely on a transcript where accuracy matters.

5. Use it safely

VoiceMark is meant to be easy to use in the car, but your attention belongs on the road. Use it only in ways that are safe and allowed where you are, and set things up before you drive.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to reverse-engineer, resell, or misuse the App except as permitted by law. The App is provided for your personal, non-commercial use.

7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

VoiceMark is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. Podcast availability depends on each show's publisher, and transcription depends on your phone's speech recognition. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

8. Changes

These Terms may be updated from time to time. The current version is always posted at this URL with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
